Loc on a Maytag dryer means the Control Lock has been enabled.
What this code means
Loc
The Control Lock has been enabled.
The Loc message is not a fault. It shows that the Control Lock has been enabled, and while the control is locked the dryer will not start or operate.
How to unlock
Press and hold the Control Lock key for 3 seconds. The display counts down 3, 2, 1 and the machine unlocks. On some models that lock is a stand-alone key; on others it shares a button with another function such as Extra Rinse or Steam. In that case hold the button itself, not the text printed beneath it, for three seconds.
Your owner’s manual has the details for your specific model.
