Front load checks
- Have the shipping bolts been removed? All four bolts and the plastic spacers that came with them must be taken out of the rear before the washer runs. Leaving them in can cause noise, vibration or error codes, and the installation instructions give the details.
- Has the washer been overloaded? Reduce the load if so.
Maytag’s list says to clear the code by pressing Pause or Cancel twice and Power once.
Reset for either type
Unplug the washer for 5 minutes, plug it back in, reselect the cycle and press Start.
